11/16/08: The News

Drat. I forgot again. Next time, I think I'll hire NinDude to remind me.

Site news. DSi. I'm going to make a page for it. It's going to be the first page by me on Nintendo Park that is my opinion only. If I remember correctly. I'm actually already done with it, but when I load it, an error occurs. The nav bar and affiliates don't show up. Only the text, with a white background. I'm not going to link to it until I fix it.

Video game news. Animal Crossing: City Folk. It came out just a couple of hours ago where I live. I plan to get it in this afternoon. It's going to go towards a page for Nintendo Park. The plan is to play the game for one hour every day for the next 30 days. After I'm done, I'll run upstairs, sit down at the computer, and write a brief (maybe) summary of what happened. It will go on Nintendo Park as the "City Folk Diary".

In news completely unrelated to anything, I have posted a new YouTube Poop. My account is thatnewguy12345 on YouTube if you don't already know. Now, thatnewguy12345 has to go so he can buy himself a game. :P

11/14/08: WE MUST HAVE NEWS! QUICKLY! BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!

I think you already know who this is. SO anyway, Stick here trying to bring you news 'cause it looks like TNG forgot again. But due to LACK OF IT I must resort to PC news... and oh have I got something. L4D! Left 4 Dead. Both the same, fyi, just different ways of spelling. Its the latest game from Valve, a FPS zombie game where you team up with 3 others and go through a zombie apocalypse. I hated all zombie games. Except this one. Wow. Oh did you want Nintendo news? Too bad :P. There is none. Blame TNG, cause I spend most of my time on the comp anyway. EXPECIALLY too much to know the new Pokemon Ranger DS game is out... wait what? Anyway, this is Stick, blasting zombie heads into the sunset...

AFK, getting some of that "food" stuff you living people talk about.

11/5/08: The News

Dang, my habits from the past few weeks have caused me to once again forget the news on Friday. From now on, though, I will make sure to get it to you on time! As far as the site goes, NinDude has added a picture to the History page. He's also been working on the Links and Torture Chamber recently. Just thought I'd give him credit for it.

This news update has two small updates within it. The first one is sort of sad: If you live in North America, the DSi will not be released in your area until "well into 2009". Reggie Fils-Aime, the president of Nintendo of America, said this was because he thought they could sell a lot of DS Lites if he postponed the DSi; they've apparently been selling big lately. I don't know when the system will launch in Europe, but things usually come out in Europe later than in America. I'd say if you live in Europe, expect to be sitting around waiting for a few months longer.

The second one is happier. A new version of My Pokémon Ranch is on WiiWare in Japan right now, and it looks like it's going everywhere else soon! This one will have more advanced animation of the Pokémon, new toys for them to play with, and...wait for it...wait for it...COMPATIBILITY WITH POKéMON PLATINUM!!!!! This version will be free for anyone who already has the original version. This concludes thatnewguy's news update.

Whoever said "anything is possible" has never tried to slam a revolving door...

11/4/08: IS THERE STILL HOPE?!

I'm thatnewguy, here with breaking news. I am not going to be on the forums for the next few weeks. I am going to be taking a break to finish pages on the regular site. I am leaving the forums in the hands of NinDude38 and Stick. *crowd gasps* Yes, I said Stick. Hopefully I'm making some hint of a right choice.

You may have noticed that I have not covered the news in the last few weeks. For the next few weeks, I'll make sure to post a lot of news on Fridays. Thankfully for Stick, Guitar Hero World Tour has come out, and therefore there will be no more news updates regarding the subject. I'm trying to find some stuff on the recently announced Pokémon Platinum game, which is a direct sequel to Diamond and Pearl. I checked on my forum as a guest the other day, and I figured out that Stick said he would do the news last Friday. He didn't do that though, so I'll just tell you that Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades now has a confirmed full song list, including well-known songs like "We Are the Champions" by Queen, "La Bamba" by Los Lobos, and "The One I Love" by R.E.M. I have to say I'm more excited about some more modern songs: "The Pretender" by Foo Fighters, "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World, and "Dirty Little Secret" by All-American Rejects, among others. Stick, I won't be obsessing over this game as much. I was just telling the people what you missed.
